8:12-10:06 Social Studies/ English:

Social Studies:  Read and discuss p. 65-71 in your books.  We studied this before winter break.  Define words on p. 67 and include an image.  

Choose 1 of the people on p. 65 to research and write about.  You may work with 1 other person.  Write a biography about the person you chose.  Who was this person?  When and where did he or she live?  Why is this person famous?    

English groups:  You are all in different places in the book.  Study the vocabulary or grammar we discussed yesterday. 

Jazz chants:  choose 1 poem from the current chapter in your book to memorize and recite next Wednesday.  

Reading groups/Lexia at 9:50.

10:22-12:13 Science/Math:    

Science: Read and discuss p. 100-103 in your books.  This is review.  Think about how you are going to make a model of the earth that includes the inner core, outer core, mantle and crust.  You can create this in your cb, on paper, or using other materials...  
  
Math:  Wrap-up integers. Integer page with times tables on the back.  You may use hot and cold cubes to do your work.  Please make sure these are put away when you are finished. 

Blue book p. 76-78.  Read p. 76-77. Do p. 78, problems 1-45.  This is due Wednesday.  When you finish this, read p. 82-83.  Do p. 84, problems 1-49.  

You will have a test Wednesday on adding and subtracting integers.
